Car parking
Visitors / short stays
If you are just visiting or on a short placement, you will need to pay for car parking on a daily basis. The visitor's car park is accessed from the main hospital entrance via the roundabout on Haslingden Road. Tickets are issued on entry and charges must be paid at the machine prior to departure as follows:
£1.80 for up to 3 hours
£3.30 for over 3 hours
If you are coming to the Learning Centre, the nearest car park is Car Park J. This is accessed by entering the hospital site at the service entrance opposite the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Haslingden Road. Entry to Car Park J is by permit or credit card only (charged at the rates given above).
A number of 70 p day tickets are issued each morning which allow access to Car Park J only. These are obtained from the Car Parking desk in the main hospital (park in the Drop Off Zone at the main entrance whilst collecting ticket).
Longer stays
If you are here on placement, car parking permits can be purchased for a cost of £9.50 per month. The application form can be downloaded so that you can apply in advance of arriving for your placement and your pass will then be ready for collection when you arrive. Please note that you must be registered to access this document, which can be found in the Current Students area under General Resources.
Please also note that possession of a valid car parking pass does not guarantee you a parking space.
