University of Manchester

We have been offering placements for students from the University of Manchester Medical School for many years. The Year 4 (Families and Children) and Year 5 (District General and Community) programmes are well established, with the Year 3 student placements being a more recent addition.

Heart, Lungs and Blood was launched here in 2007 with Nutrition, Metabolism and Excretion added in October 2009.

In addition we offer Early Experience for Year 1 and 2 students, plus a range of Student Selected Components and Project Options.
